Spring is here, Easter is almost here, the Spring Conference is real close, and the 2006 golf tournament is in our sights.

Spring brings a rebirth of the earth and energizes things that have lain dormant over the winter months. We can’t say Memphis EWI members have been dormant over the winter months because of all the incredible things you have accomplished since September 2005 and we are looking forward to continuing on this path.

We have enjoyed a great response for the Spring Conference from the Memphis Chapter and it is our goal to get everyone to register. This is an outstanding thing you all have done in raising the money to pay your way to this conference. Be proud of yourselves! Our sister chapters that have registered are excited about coming to Memphis. We have folks coming from Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Washington, Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, and Wisconsin.

Our opening reception on Thursday night is going to be a night to remember. There will be lots of new people to meet, see folks we have not seen in a while and make new acquaintances, and of course, EP will be there to make you swoon.

On Friday, April 21 at noon we will have our April chapter meeting and it will be an executive luncheon. Invitations will go out to your executive. Please encourage them to come and see what an exciting professional event our chapter has put together for the conference. Our corporate president, Debbie Taylor and her board will participate in the luncheon. Now you can’t beat that with a stick as far as impressing our executives. These ladies will be coming from all across the country to be in Memphis at our Spring Conference. Brag a little ladies, toot our horn to your executives and make them want to come and see what is going on.

The Friday night bar-b-que and entertainment is going to knock your socks off. Hicks Convention Services has some fantastic decorations lined up for the conference to put you in the Memphis mood. Come prepared to “Rock and Roll” Memphis style!!!!!!!!!
