It’s hard to believe another month has gone by! At our April chapter meeting, we enjoyed a fabulous spring fashion show. Mary Rogers and Mary Lou Selles, our new best friends at Talbot’s of Saddlecreek, help our models select the perfect spring outfits, along with accessories galore. Thanks to our models – Amanda Bell, Angie Robertson, Judy Thompson and sister Delores Selby, Anna Hough, Jane Liddell, Judy Thompson, Nadine Lakey & daughter Kim Weeden and Jan Parrish – you were such pros! Thank you, Lisa Forrest, Sherry Fields and Pamela Bradley for pulling it all together!
Thank you, Katie Hart, for an outstanding Membership Blitz held before the chapter meeting. Your hard work and dedication to our chapter does not go unnoticed! We hope to install 4-5 new member firms in the coming months.
As I look back on my message each month, there is one phrase that stands out in my mind – Thank you! I appreciate all of you that work so dilligently for this chapter. It does “take a village” – one person cannot accomplish this much without the support, talents and collaborative effort of the entire chapter. So again, I say “THANK YOU” TO ALL OF YOU!!!
A couple of business items:
- Wendy Cowley, EWI Corporate President introduced the new EWI tag line “EWI: A Perfect Fit for Connections, Careers and Communities” in the March Corporate PULSE. Watch for the new verbiage and the new three C’s logo!
- The next Corporate-sponsored Teleseminar will take place on May 22 @ 7p.m. Use the “Leadership Link” on the Corporate homepage to take you to Professional Development for more information (www.executivewomen.org).
- The “Networking Table” is BACK!!! At each chapter meeting, a table will be provided for you to display information about you or your firm. Please use this table for all non-EWI related material you would like to share with other representatives. Also, if your firm has any “freebies” to share, please place them on this table! And, don’t forget, you are always welcome to submit an article for submission to the Chapter PULSE…..
